Sr Payroll Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to manage the preparation and processing of weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for approximately 700 USA-based employees using ADP Workforce Now. In this role, you'll ensure accurate, timely payroll processing, manage payroll-related reporting, and maintain compliance with payroll regulations. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, expertise in ADP Workforce Now, and a solid understanding of payroll best practices.

Salary: $65 – 80k PA

Duties:

• Accountable for the integrity of all payroll data in accordance with company policies and government regulations.
• Ensure labour files are imported timely in the payroll system.
• Maintains high customer service levels in the evaluation/resolution of payroll related issues.
• Responsible for post payroll reports and transactions, including but not limited to tax remittance, 401K transmission files, and general ledger files.
• Handle day to day urgent payroll matters, including but limited to special payroll runs, manual check calculations, tax remittance issues.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of multi-state payroll experience, preferably in a shared service environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred
• Experience in US Benefit administration
• Experience in tax amendments and quarterly/annual tax filings.
