We are seeking a highly skilled Pipeline Project Manager to join our team and oversee the successful execution of our pipeline projects.
Position Summary:
The Pipeline Project Manager will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of pipeline projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of pipeline construction, regulatory requirements, and best practices, along with strong leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and manage all aspects of pipeline projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, regulatory bodies, and clients to ensure all project objectives are met.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Lead risk management efforts, identifying potential issues and proactively addressing them.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders and communicate project updates regularly.
- Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure work quality and compliance with project specifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in pipeline project management, preferably in the oil, gas, or utilities sector.
- Extensive knowledge of pipeline construction methods, materials, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
- Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Experience with environmental permitting and regulatory compliance is a plus.
