The Legacy Foundation is seeking a motivated individual to assume the full-time role of Operations Associate. This position will be responsible for supporting and serving the firm’s clients in a collaborative and efficient manner. This position is a perfect fit for a self-starter who has excellent time management skills, a service-experience mindset, and a desire to work at a firm that is committed to making a positive impact through socially responsible investing. This candidate will enjoy working within a small team to provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Manage client financial plans, monitor client activity, and service client needs
- Serve as a team liaison by delegating tasks between portfolio management, and client services teams
- Participate in client meetings and become integrated into the client relationships
- Prepare meeting materials, assemble financial reports, and ensure tasks are properly tracked in a CRM tool
- Ensure all regulatory documents are filed on a timely basis and monitor that the firm maintains compliance with industry rules and regulations
- Assist with opening and processing new accounts, follow up with fund companies and clients to ensure efficient and accurate processing of requests, and complete workflow tasks on a timely basis
Qualifications:
Although the ideal candidate is not expected to have an in-depth knowledge of the financial industry, a willingness and desire to learn the nuances of financial planning and wealth management are of key importance.
The successful candidate will have the following required skills:
- Strong communication skills and professional awareness
- Excellent written skills, and the ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner when interacting with clients or investment companies
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail is vital to this position
- Self-starter who takes the initiative and pursues completion of tasks with little supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and solve problems quickly and effectively
The following skills are considered a plus:
- Financial services industry experience
- Series 7 & 66 licensed
- Experience working in customer relations
- Experience working with a client relationship management (CRM) platform (Redtail, Salesforce, etc.) and/or financial planning software (e.g. eMoney)
- 4-year college degree
