Job Overview

As a Senior Technical Architect specializing in BI & Data Solutions, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data architectures that support our clients' business intelligence and analytics needs. Your expertise in Java and data technologies will be crucial in creating scalable and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex data architectures for BI and analytics solutions.

• Lead the development of data integration, data warehousing, and data lake solutions.

• Utilize Java programming skills to develop custom data processing and analytics applications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance our data solutions offerings.

• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance throughout project lifecycles.

• Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations.

• Optimize data pipelines and processing for performance and scalability.

• Create and maintain technical documentation for architecture designs and implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

• 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years focusing on data architecture and BI solutions.

• Strong proficiency in Java programming and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate)

• Extensive experience with data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and BI tools

• Expertise in designing and implementing big data solutions using technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their data services

• Knowledge of data modeling techniques and experience with both relational and non-relational databases

• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance requirements

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to overcome technical challenges.

• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with machine learning and AI technologies

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

• Certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF)

• Experience in a consulting or client-facing role
