Job Overview

We seek a skilled and motivated Piping Installer to join our San Diego, CA team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing a wide range of commercial and industrial piping and be committed to ensuring quality and safety in all projects.

Responsibilities

• Install various commercial and industrial piping systems, including HVAC piping, chilled water lines, piping, and other mechanical systems.
• To ensure accurate installation, read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and piping layouts.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to efficiently plan and execute piping installations.
• Ensure all piping work complies with safety standards, regulations, and client specifications.
• Perform pressure tests on piping systems to identify and repair any leaks or deficiencies.
• Keep detailed records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects.
• Stay current on industry trends and advancements to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a piping installer, with specific expertise in HVAC, chilled water, and piping systems.
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and plumbing, HVAC, and piping systems knowledge.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime and weekends as needed.
