Senior Mechanical Engineer

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Mechanical engineering support for new and existing Encompass building evaluation and restoration projects.

1. Engineering field evaluation and analysis of HVAC and plumbing systems.

1. Engineering/design of HVAC systems and/or HVAC system repairs and modifications.

1. Engineering/design of plumbing systems and/or repairs and modifications.

1. Engineering forensic services in support of construction litigation projects, including participation in depositions and trials.

1. Provide heating and cooling load calculations for a variety of different structures and projects.

1. Perform HVAC commissioning on new construction projects.

1. Serve as the mechanical department lead; coordinate and direct workload to mechanical staff, serve as a mentor, provide peer review for work produced by others.

1. Assist in generation of new business, including proposal development, potential client interaction, and other means of promoting Encompass mechanical services.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Must possess a current Minnesota Professional Engineer license (PE)
