IT Asset Manager

Denver, CO (Onsite)

Long Term Contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement IT asset management policies and procedures.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses.
  • Coordinate the procurement process for IT assets, ensuring compliance with budget and contractual agreements.
  • Manage asset lifecycle processes, including deployment, maintenance, and disposal.
  • Conduct regular audits of IT assets to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess asset requirements and optimize usage.
  • Track software licenses and ensure compliance with vendor agreements.
  • Provide reports and metrics on asset utilization, costs, and lifecycle status to senior management.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in IT asset management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in IT asset management or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of IT asset lifecycle management and inventory control.
  • Familiarity with ITAM tools and software (e.g., ServiceNow, Lansweeper).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams.
  • ITIL certification is a plus.
