IT Asset Manager

Long Term Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT asset management policies and procedures.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses.
- Coordinate the procurement process for IT assets, ensuring compliance with budget and contractual agreements.
- Manage asset lifecycle processes, including deployment, maintenance, and disposal.
- Conduct regular audits of IT assets to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess asset requirements and optimize usage.
- Track software licenses and ensure compliance with vendor agreements.
- Provide reports and metrics on asset utilization, costs, and lifecycle status to senior management.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in IT asset management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in IT asset management or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of IT asset lifecycle management and inventory control.
- Familiarity with ITAM tools and software (e.g., ServiceNow, Lansweeper).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams.
- ITIL certification is a plus.
