We are looking for "D365 Business Architect - Field Service (Technical)"

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to help architecting, designing and implementing a comprehensive Field Service platform for our fortune 500 client. This role focuses on the solution architecture of the platform, ensuring the technology solution aligns with business strategy and goals & objectives and integrate seamlessly within the customer’s ecosystem. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and experience with event-driven architectures, workflows, portal building, real- time data management, entitlement management, customer care ser up, supply chain mgmt., field operations and channel partner integrations etc.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the technical architecture for the end to end Field Service solution, aligning with the business requirements defined by business.
  • Design end-to-end workflows, data models, and system integrations to support real-time event capture, data processing, and workflow automation across entitlements, case management, supply chain, field operations, and partner channels.
  • Provide technical consulting to both internal teams and the client, ensuring the solution meets scalability, performance, and security standards.
  • Collaborate with the Business Architect to understand business requirements and translate them into robust technical designs and actionable system requirements.
  • Define and manage integration points across various systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365, CRM, EventHub systems, IoT devices, and third-party tools, ensuring seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure that the integration approach supports both functional and non- functional requirements like real-time data processing, resilience, and fault tolerance.
  • Develop a data strategy that supports real-time event data processing and is compliant with corporate governance, security standards, and industry regulations.
  • Oversee data governance practices and ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to oversee technical implementation, conduct code reviews, and validate that the solution meets architectural standards and business expectations.
  • Support testing and troubleshooting, ensuring that all technical components function as expected in alignment with the overall business objectives.
  • Present technical architecture and solution progress to stakeholders and senior management, explaining complex technical concepts in business-friendly terms.
  • Lead technical workshops with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and technical deliverables.
  • Leverage industry best practices and emerging technologies to improve the solution’s efficiency, including resource scheduling, technician enablement, customer satisfaction, and SLA management.
  • Proactively recommend enhancements based on real-time data insights, supporting operational improvements and increased customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years in solution or enterprise architecture roles, with at least 5+ years in cloud-based Field Service solutions like MS Dynamics 365
  • At least 2-4 full lifecycle large implementation of Dynamics 365 Field Service and be 1-2 implementations if the scope/scale is really huge. Should be able to lead a project from inception to successful implementation
  • Strong background in event-driven architecture, IoT integration, and real-time data management in Field Service or related domains.
  • Should be hands-on and capable of guiding both business and technical teams from the ground up.
  • Proven experience architecting solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem, including Field Service and CRM integrations. Candidate should also have great experience in process mining, process optimization and process flow management
  • Deep understanding of Portal design and implementation, power automation and power platform to support the solution design and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices and ensure architecture/design is compliant with major cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to bridge the gap between technical and business teams and capable of presenting technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, able to translate business needs into scalable, reliable, and high-performance technical solutions.
  • Proficiency in architectural tools like EA, Visio, and BPMN, as well as hands-on experience with data analytics tools and real-time event hubs.
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Field Service Functional Consultant Associate or equivalent certifications in enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF).
