DevOps Engineer - Cloud Native Trading System

First DevOps Engineer for a High Growth FinTech / Trading Start Up!!!

I'm working with a high growth trading system startup in NYC looking to make their first US engineering hire - this could be a great opportunity for you!

The company is building a cloud-native trading system, focusing on improving efficiency and transparency in a specialized area of capital markets. In this role, you'll have the autonomy to shape and manage their infrastructure, CI/CD process, and monitoring/alerting framework within a cutting-edge tech stack that includes Golang, GCP, Kubernetes, and gRPC. You’ll collaborate closely with clients, the customer and operations teams in New York, and the current engineering team in Amsterdam. This is an opportunity to take ownership and drive meaningful change in a fast-paced environment!

Required:

• At least 7 years of experience with significant background in Cloud/DevOps/Site Reliability/Platform Engineering
• Experience with a cloud platform (can be AWS or Azure, doesn’t necessarily have to be GCP)
• Must have experience with Kubernetes
• Some experience coding - Golang is ideal but Python, Java, etc. would be beneficial
• Must have experience supporting trading systems and/or a live trading environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Willing to work in office in downtown NYC 5 days per week
• Authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
