XSELL is looking for a Head of Infrastructure & Data Engineering to join our team. We are looking for a passionate and task driven individual to join us to support the company’s strategy. This person will work closely with DevOps, data engineers, operational & product teams to support cloud migrations, data pipeline management, scaling Kubernetes infrastructure, and more.

Ways You Will Contribute:

  • Lead transformational projects, overseeing architecture, design, implementation, costs, and support.
  • Ensure smooth operations through problem management, change management, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive the strategic vision for enterprise BI and analytics, collaborating with senior leadership.
  • Develop and implement roadmaps for analytics, data governance, and business intelligence.
  • Oversee data-related projects and collaborate with business leaders to define technology needs.
  • Set enterprise architecture strategies and ensure governance through the Architecture Review Board.
  • Establish best practices for data management, security, and governance.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies to drive future data and infrastructure improvements.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Expertise with Kubernetes and AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, KMS)
  • Expertise with Snowflake and data engineering solutions, ETL processes, data processing.
  • Knowledge and experience using integration tools & technologies to migrate diverse & complex systems & applications from on-prem to the Cloud, including development, testing, configuration, deployment & monitoring.
  • Optimization and infra cost-management experience, driving down cloud spend across environments.
  • Proven leadership in managing infrastructure and data engineering teams in cloud environments.
  • Strong programming skills (Python, Bash, Terraform, etc.) and experience with agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and ability to present technical concepts to both IT and business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience building automation for cloud environments using tools such as Cloudformation, Terraform & Ansible.
  • Strong understanding & experience with architecture and design, including utilizing Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, GitHub actions, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with & lead activities of a diverse professional & technical staff, including off-shore vendors.
