Masentó are partnering with a chemical manufacturing company. They are currently on a transformative journey to leverage data and artificial intelligence to optimize production, drive business insights, and support our strategic goals. We’re seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Data & AI to lead the data strategy, oversee advanced analytics, and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making across this organization.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive data and AI strategy that aligns with business goals and drives competitive advantage.
• Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of data scientists, AI Engineers, data engineers, and analysts to deliver high-impact projects.
• Oversee the design and optimization of data architecture, ensuring robust data governance, security, and quality.
• Drive innovation in AI and machine learning to enhance production efficiency, improve quality control, and optimize supply chain operations.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and stakeholders across departments to identify and prioritize data initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with key technology partners and vendors to support our data infrastructure.

Key Skills

• Proven track record of leading data and AI initiatives in a leadership role - working across various technologies and industry focuses
• Expertise & understand in advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI applications in industrial or manufacturing settings.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, with hands-on experience in data engineering and ETL pipeline design.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for data warehousing, analytics, and machine learning.
• Skilled at working closely with executive teams and cross-functional leaders to drive strategic initiatives.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders and promoting a data-first mindset.
