McDill is seeking a curious, highly motivated Digital Marketing Strategist who has a passion for the constantly changing world of digital marketing and social media. This individual will be responsible for creating and executing digital strategies for our clients that integrate paid, social, email and web efforts for maximum impact. The ideal candidate must have strong communication, technology and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Help manage McDill’s flagship client accounts and brands.
  • Develop omnichannel campaign strategies and programs for our clients, from planning and journey mapping to timelines and reporting.
  • Stay on top of the latest trends, platforms and best practices in digital marketing. Help educate team members and clients along the way.
  • Define campaign KPIs, help ensure proper tracking, and analyze/interpret metrics to draw insights and optimize campaign efforts.
  • Create and manage client budgets, SOWs and project estimates. Reconcile campaign budgets on a monthly basis.
  • Attend and facilitate key meetings, large project/campaign kick-offs, presentations and regular check-ins.
  • Listen for upsell opportunities and make recommendations for new/additional work.
  • Respond to client questions in a timely manner (within 24 hours), with acknowledgment and/or next steps.
  • Brief creative team on new campaigns and review/approve work. Prepare and facilitate client presentations.
  • Review all proofs, content, editorial calendars, etc. and provide feedback/approval before sending to the client.
  • Work with the creative team to regularly review client brand work and opportunities for brand evolution.
  • Assist with new account acquisition proposals and pitches.
  • Monitor clients’ industries and business for changes and opportunities for growth. Stay ahead of the curve!
  • Coordinate with account executives, creatives and developers to ensure all deliverables adhere to digital marketing best practices and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Ensure the work is of the highest quality every day and make sure clients are happy.

Qualification Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, Data Analytics, or similar – with 10+ years of agency and/or in-house experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Confident, driven and motivated, and places a high value on producing quality work.
  • Strong ability to lead internal teams and client teams.
  • Experience in creating and managing integrated digital marketing campaigns required.
