Finance Manager Needed!

Are you an experienced finance professional with a passion for leadership and a knack for analytics? We are seeking a dedicated Finance Manager to join a dynamic team at a reputable non-profit organization! This role offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $85,000 and requires 100% on-site presence in Sacramento, CA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of two Accounts Payable specialists and one Payroll specialist.
  • Financial Oversight: Review and reconcile all activities within the AP and Payroll departments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Advanced Analysis: Utilize advanced Excel skills to handle large data sets and perform detailed financial analysis.
  • System Proficiency: Work with UKG for payroll and Sage for general ledger tasks, demonstrating strong system savvy.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, adhering to all relevant accounting principles and standards.
  • Audit and Budget Support: Assist with year-end audit preparations and support budget and forecast activities.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Management Experience: Proven experience in managing teams, with a minimum of three years in Payroll and Accounts Payable.
  • Advanced Excel Skills: Demonstrated expertise in using Excel for complex data analysis.
  • Analytical Mindset: High ability and interest in analytics, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Non-Profit Experience: Experience in a non-profit setting is a plus, given the organization’s diverse programs and funding sources.

  • Budget Management: Ability to create and manage budgets effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Relationship Building: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Sage, and other relevant software.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance with 5 years of managerial experience

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to pass a TB test, background check, and other mandatory state/federal requirements.
