Vice President of Software Engineering

Our client, a leading supply chain software company, is seeking an experienced VP of Software Product Engineering to lead and scale our engineering teams. In this role, you will drive the vision, roadmap, and execution of our enterprise software products, ensuring they are built on a flexible, scalable architecture that meets evolving customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the engineering strategy and roadmap, aligning with our core product and extensibility goals
• Partner closely with Product Management to identify and prioritize core enhancements and new features
• Design a modular, cloud-native architecture that enables quick deployment of customizations
• Implement engineering standards and processes to deliver high-quality, reliable software releases
• Embed our core-and-extend strategy across the entire software development lifecycle
• Champion an engineering culture focused on adaptability, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Manage and develop a talented team of engineering managers and senior engineers

Requirements:

• 10+ years of senior engineering leadership experience, ideally in a B2B software company
• Expertise in modular, API-driven architectures and cloud-native technologies
• Background in product development, commercialization, and global team management
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and drive teams toward practical solutions
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred
