We are looking for a proactive and communicative Scrum Master to join our team! In this role, you will facilitate Agile practices, ensuring the team adheres to Scrum principles and delivers high-quality products. Responsibilities:
- Schedule and facilitate meetings with various stakeholders across departments.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project updates and communication.
- Ensure alignment between stakeholders on project goals and deliverables.
- Organize and lead daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Maintain and update the Agile board, ensuring tasks are prioritized and reflect the team's workload.
- Work with the team to groom and refine the backlog, ensuring clarity on upcoming work.
- Document project requirements, progress, and changes as they occur.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting notes, timelines, and action items.
- Ensure that documentation is accessible and up-to-date for all relevant team members.
- Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring milestones are met.
- Monitor project progress and escalate risks or delays to appropriate stakeholders.
- Coordinate with the technical team to allocate resources effectively.
- Prepare regular reports on project status, budget, and performance metrics.
- Communicate project updates to leadership and other stakeholders.
- Ensure clear and transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery.
- Encourage best practices in project management, Agile methodologies, and documentation.
- Assist in refining the project intake process and prioritization methods.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages team participation and idea sharing.
- Support the team in removing blockers and addressing challenges.
- Provide guidance and support to team members on project management practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
- Proven track record of at least 4-5 years in a scrum master, project management role or a related field.
Facilitation
- Ability to guide discussions, meetings, and workshops effectively.
Communication
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
Conflict Resolution
- Skills to manage and resolve conflicts within the team.
Coaching and Mentoring
- Ability to coach team members on Agile practices and principles.
Servant Leadership
- Leading by example and putting the team’s needs first.
Problem-Solving
- Analytical skills to identify and solve issues that may impede the team’s progress.
Adaptability
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and team dynamics.
Knowledge of Agile and Scrum
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
Time Management
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
