Substation Electrical Engineer- Commissioning - (Tennessee)

We have a current opportunity for a Senior Substation Engineer looking for a new opportunity within the power delivery space. This position has a variety of responsibilities in MV/HV substations and power plants across the state of Tennessee.

Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day engineering support in substations & power plants
• Perform commissioning & functional testing for protection & control equipment and circuits in a substation/power plant
• Manage/lead multiple jobs in assigned territory
• Manage job financials

Skills Required

• Experience working with substation and power plant equipment, metering & controls, instrument transformer circuits, relays & relay logic is required
• Experienced with installing and commissioning all types of equipment in HV/MV substations
• Open to travel to project sites up to 50% (*MOST WEEKENDS AT HOME)
• Posess strong communication skills & the ability to work alongside electricians

Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 3+ years experience with substation electrical design/installation/commissioning
• OR non-degreed technician with 10+ years of relevant substation electrical design/installation/commissioning experience will also be considered

Pay & Benefits:

• Salary: $90,000 - $160,000 annually (based on education/experience)
