Job Title: Specialist - Quality Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web-based applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, and business analysts/product managers to understand application requirements and create corresponding automated test strategies.
  • Execute automated test cases and analyze the results to identify defects and ensure the quality of the application.
  • Integrate automated tests with the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
  • Perform code reviews and provide feedback to improve the quality and efficiency of the automation scripts.
  • Identify, document, and track defects in the issue tracking system.
  • Continuously research and implement new testing tools and strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other team meetings to provide testing input and status updates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Automation Test Engineer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Junit, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of software development and QA methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Automation QA, having strong UI testing experience along with API testing.Experience in Automation testing with good hands-on experience in carrying out manual testing as well writing manual test cases execution defect reporting JIRA Tool.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies such as SCRUM and end to end knowledge on Agile processes key meetings held etc.
  • Experience with all phases of software testing including Test Planning Functional and Regression testing and System testing.
  • Experience in BDD framework using Cucumber.
  • Experienced in writing test scripts using BDD framework maintaining and automating the scenarios using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Experience with CICD tools such as Jenkins.
  • Good knowledge on BitBucket GitHub.
  • Good Knowledge on API automation.
  • Candidate should have knowledge to develop QA automation framework from scratch.
  • Experience in SQL queries.
  • Good to have experience in Web Service Testing using Postman.
  • Excellent Communication skills Oral and Written.

Mandatory Certification: Selenium Certification.
