Business Analyst

Location: Hybrid (3 days per week from Deerfield Beach, FL)

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Perform requirements gathering and clarifications with the technical team, leveraging agile techniques.
  • Document in detail business and system processes and requirements
  • Strong collaboration and communication with technology teams, business teams and subject matter experts to perform daily activities.
  • Lead assigned initiatives, communicate status, issues or risks to management and stakeholders
  • Identify the business impact of system issues and facilitate communication as appropriate to stakeholders
  • Provide management with detailed summaries and execution plans to address key issues, trends, project to support transition and change management recommendation
  • Surface areas of opportunity for system and process improvements to address recurring requests and/or incidents
  • Engage with business partners to effectively understand and shape sprint prioritization
  • Engage and communicate with senior management as appropriate

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree
  • 2-5+ years’ experience working as a Business Analyst working on projects teams with a primary focus on Agile methodologies
  • Strong requirement documentation experience
  • Experience in functional design, configuration, and process alignment with a quick understanding of systems and solutions (technical knowledge – backend applications/systems/integration)
  • Experience with software and systems development life cycles (SDLC) – preferred
  • Experience with Azure Power Platform (Power Automate) – nice to have
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) – nice to have

  • Self-starter with effective time management and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong planning and analytical skills
  • Ability to package information and complex ideas in business-friendly and/or at an executive level
  • Strong sense of urgency with affinity to great customer service is required
