This role will be critical in supporting the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes within the company’s advanced automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing Process Design: Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for automation machinery to ensure operational efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Mastercam Programming: Write, modify, and troubleshoot CNC programs using Mastercam to meet precise machining and production requirements.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, minimizing waste, and improving overall manufacturing effectiveness.
- Tooling and Fixture Design: Collaborate with design teams to create and optimize tooling, fixtures, and setup procedures that improve machining accuracy and reduce cycle times.
- Quality Control: Work alongside quality assurance teams to develop quality standards, troubleshoot machining issues, and ensure that products meet all required specifications.
- Manufacturing Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process flowcharts.
- Production Support: Provide ongoing engineering support to the production floor, troubleshooting process and equipment issues to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations.
- Collaboration and Cross-functional Communication: Collaborate with product design, production, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth integration of design concepts into manufacturing processes.
Experience Needed:
- Bachelors in Engineering
- 4 years of experience
- Mastercam programming a must
