Position Summary: The finance manager has a leadership role within the company, managing, controlling, and overseeing all financial and accounting activities to ensure sustainable and profitable business growth. The Finance Manager plays a crucial role in supporting Senior Management in making key business decisions, managing budgets, forecasting financial performance, and ensuring compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning: Developing and implementing financial strategies, budgets, and forecasting models. Creating various scenarios and financial models for long-term growth, assessing the risks and opportunities impacting the Strategic Plan, and proposing an optimal cash allocation.
  • Financial Accounting: Overseeing all accounting operations, including payroll processing, managing the general ledger and accounting rules, and generating financial information (income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flow).
  • Financial Reporting: Analyzing financial data, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in a timely and accurate manner, managing end-to-end audit processes, and presenting reports to key stakeholders.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial and operational analysis measuring financial and non-financial indicators, collaborating with the different functions to evaluate the plant performance and to identify areas for improvement on efficiency and effectiveness of current business processes, pricing, gross margin analysis, cost-saving opportunities, and growth potential.
  • Oversee Cost Accounting and Stock Control: Oversee actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs, overseeing cost accounting, stock control, and purchase order processes.
  • Audit Management: Managing the annual audit process, and working with external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Cash Management: Monitoring cash flow, optimizing working capital, managing and supervising all AR/AP cycles, collections, and payment terms with external partners and customers, and overseeing banking relationships.
  • Investment and Capital Management: Evaluating capital projects and making recommendations on investment decisions.
  • Tax Planning: Ensuring compliance with tax laws, and making strategic tax planning decisions.
  • Risk Management: Assessing and managing financial risks, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and developing & enforcing internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Finance Transformation: Driving the change in ERP/ Finance IT systems to continually improve the standards and benchmarks in Budgeting, Financial Projections, and Operating Forecast
  • Process Optimization: Ensure accounting processes and procedures are operating as designed, making improvements as necessary.
  • Team Leadership: Providing guidance and supervision to finance teams, including setting objectives, conducting performance reviews, and fostering professional development.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    Interacting with internal and external stakeholders such as executives, investors, auditors, and suppliers to address financial concerns and provide financial insights.

  • Partnership & Collaboration: Engaging with internal teams within ICONS BEAUTYGROUP for holistic decision-making, financial planning, and operational excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus.
  • 5-10+ years of experience in a Finance/Accounting management role, with experience in the manufacturing/ packaging industry preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software
  • Demonstrated leadership with teams of 2+members.
  • Experience with cost analysis, inventory management, and pricing.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, ERP systems, financial benchmarking, accounting, audit, payroll and tax compliance, and other regulatory matters
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to operate as an effective tactical as well as strategic thinker.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
