We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team focused on developing applications and integrations in the fields of computer vision, AI, and robotics. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the web-based development lifecycle, from planning to deployment and maintenance. Familiarity with .NET, Angular, Windows/web-based development, and cloud environments (preferably Azure) is desired.

Role : Senior Software Engineer
Location:Durham, NC/Hybrid
Contract to Hire
Rate Range: $70.57- $75.41/hr on w2
Travel may be required - The travel may be to a client site or for planning sessions at one of our locations
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and evolve applications across multiple layers, including UI, middleware, and backend.
- Support team members with design, coding, and tooling.
- Collaborate with development teams to create interconnected systems and enhance engineering processes.
- Debug and analyze performance in production environments and manage technical debt.
- Mentor junior engineers and continuously improve software quality and design.
Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years as a software engineer, 1+ years as a lead engineer preferred.
- Proficient in C#/.NET, SQL (MSSQL & Postgres), C, C++, and Angular for SPA.
- Experience with Microservices Architecture, CI/CD, Git/GitHub, and test automation (NUnit).
- B.S. in Computer Science or a related field.
- Cloud platforms such as Azure.
- Developing classic ASP.NET and ASP.NET Core web apps and services.
