Summary:
Reporting directly to the VP of DIT Strategy and Governance, the Digital Engagement Leader is pivotal in managing the operational aspects associated with increasing digital literacy across Quaker Houghton for DIT sponsored technology tools and services including:
- Operational Communications,
- Digital Literacy Programs
- Knowledge Management
- Feedback Mechanisms
- Technology Adoption Analysis, Metrics and Reporting
The Digital Engagement Leader is a technology evangelist who increases technology proficiency of QH Staff by leveraging different mediums for optimal impact.
Accountabilities:
Operational Communications:
- Working in partnership with our Corporate Communications and across DIT team provide information on new services or offerings and communicate information on outages and resolution of issues.
- Participate in projects across DIT to help craft digital experiences that are aligned and engaging.
Digital Literacy Programs:
- Compile and organize training and create digital boosters on a wide range of topics focusing on the tools we deploy to the enterprise.
- Leveraging the Intranet and Teams as two of the mediums. Focus on creating engaging content that provides value to the reader.
- Leverage learning platforms to increase reach.
- Create guidelines on how collaboration platforms should be leveraged for optimal impact. (chat, email, intranet).
Knowledge Management:
- Develop content and work with other content owners for policy development to ensure that the information shared is relevant and timely and that the content is well-structured and easy to consume.
Feedback Mechanisms:
- Place the user at the center of everything we do and translate digital technology information into consumable content that enhances how we work.
- Survey the workforce to determine areas where DIT is providing value and how we can enhance end user effectiveness by providing relevant information
Education, Experience and Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, Training, or a related field is preferred
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT Operations, Digital Tools Training
- Digital Skills training and the ability to apply technology to how work is accomplished.
- Strong capability in communicating in a variety of media including web, email, PowerPoint.
- Experience in web design and communicating for impact.
- Detail oriented and technically savvy.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
