Sr. Scientist, Translational Immunopharmacology

Location: Boston, Massachusetts

HireMinds is seeking your talent as a Senior Scientist with expertise in immunology and translational pharmacology to support the development of novel therapeutic approaches targeting immune regulation. In this role you’ll focus on regulatory T cell biology and autoimmunity, advancing preclinical models to drive therapeutic innovation in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You’ll gain insight to translational studies as well with this clinical phase biotech team and engaging opportunity.

You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Design and execution of studies addressing key translational pharmacology needs for immunology focused programs.
  • Oversee and manage external vendors to conduct in vitro and in vivo studies assessing regulatory T cells (Treg) function in models of autoimmunity.
  • Package and Deliver data analysis for preclinical studies to establish pharmacologic relationships between drug exposure, target engagement, and immune activity.
  • Ensure thorough documentation of studies, analyze data, and communicate findings across teams.
  • Contribute to regulatory filings, scientific presentations, and publications through technical reports and summary documents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in translational, clinical, and regulatory functions to meet both program-specific and broader organizational goals.

You’ll Bring:

  • Ph.D. preferred in biology, immunology, or pharmacology with 5-8 years of industry experience.
  • OR B.Sc. with 10-12+ years of research experience in industry, or M.Sc. with 8-10 years of industry experience.
  • Direct experience with immune regulation, Treg biology, and in vivo models of inflammation or autoimmunity.
  • Expertise in designing cell-based assays to assess human Treg function.
  • Exposure to B cell biology and therapeutic targeting in autoimmune disease arena is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage collaborations with external CROs, consultants, and academic partners.
  • Highly organized working style with excellent time management and an eye on deadlines.
  • Strong scientific communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative, goal-oriented mindset.
