Denim Designer

Skills & Qualifications:

• At least 5-7 years of design experience in Junior Denim & Non-Denim Bottoms

• Strong knowledge of denim fabrics, washes and garment construction

• Drive business with the ability to identify key trends, color and print direction, silhouettes, and new fabrications

• Works well in a collaborative setting

• Must have advanced skills with Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, and Microsoft Excel

• Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks to meet strict deadlines in a fast paced work environment

• Results Driven

• Team player

• Highly organized and detail oriented

• Takes direction well and executes vision of the brand

Job Responsibilities:

• Sketch, create tech packs and generate CADS

• Provide reliable and responsible support to the President & Creative Director

• Effective E-Mail communication with factories

• Day to day upkeep within the area

• Tracking and follow up on sample development to ensure design development samples are well executed in adherence to calendar and customer deadlines

• Comp Shop retail

• Travel – Asia

• Meet all calendar deadlines for product lines / special projects

Attend Fit sessions, work closely with Tech Design team to ensure design intent is maintained
