Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced IT System Architecture Manager to join their Technical Services Team. This role involves managing and optimizing the organization's infrastructure, specifically in server and storage environments. The ideal candidate will lead a team of system administrators and storage engineers, ensuring robust system performance, security, and disaster recovery readiness. You will research and recommend new technologies to enhance infrastructure flexibility and resilience, while also managing key vendor relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in system architecture, team leadership, and project management within a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of system administrators and storage engineers, providing guidance on tasks, professional development, and performance management.
Oversee the maintenance, security, and disaster recovery of server and storage infrastructure, ensuring high availability and system resilience.
Manage daily support activities, including problem identification, analysis, resolution, and work assignment.
Develop and enforce IT standard work processes in collaboration with other IT leaders to optimize service delivery and system performance.
Maintain accurate inventories and capacity planning documents for organizational infrastructure.
Prioritize and manage operational projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
Establish and manage vendor relationships, ensuring timely service delivery, issue resolution, and cost management.
Implement and maintain server and application monitoring tools to enhance operational efficiency.
Participate in root cause analysis and contribute to operational improvements.
Research emerging technologies and recommend solutions that align with the organization’s needs and budget.
Collaborate with project teams to define system architecture requirements and document technical project plans.
Contribute to IT policies and processes, including compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and HITRUST standards.
Assist in the development of the strategic IT plan and annual budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Participate in on-call rotations to support critical infrastructure needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of management experience or 4 years as a senior-level analyst. At least 4 years of healthcare information systems experience is required.

Experience in disaster recovery planning and testing.
