Location: Bob Bolen Public Safety Complex, 505 W Felix St, Fort Worth, TX 76115
Contract Duration: October 2024 - October 2025 (with potential extension)
Work Schedule: 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Job Description:
The UKG System Analyst will support the PSPS Project for the Fire Department, ensuring optimal functionality and performance of the UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) system. You will work closely with IT representatives, department managers, and stakeholders to administer, troubleshoot, and enhance the UKG system to meet the evolving needs of the department. The role requires a strong analytical background, proficiency in payroll and time management systems, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Key responsibilities include:
- Administer and support the UKG system for the PSPS Project.
- Analyze and troubleshoot system issues, providing timely solutions to ensure continuous operation.
- Collaborate with department staff, IT representatives, and stakeholders to gather requirements and implement system improvements.
- Create and maintain system documentation, ensuring user guides and training materials are up-to-date.
- Perform system testing, updates, and configurations as needed.
- Work independently and exercise initiative in problem-solving.
- Provide support for project-related deliverables and tasks, ensuring deadlines are met.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 4+ years of experience working with UKG (formerly Kronos) or similar payroll/time management systems.
- Strong understanding of payroll, staffing, and scheduling processes.
- Experience in system analysis, troubleshooting, and configuration.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
