We are working with a Florida-based client who is looking for an experienced Workday HRIS Analyst to support their systems. This role will specialize in customizing and maintaining their Workday instance, with some light build-out work. As a HRIS Analyst, you will collaborate with HR, IT, and other cross-functional teams to design and implement technical solutions that enhance the employee experience, improve HR processes, and ensure data accuracy. This role requires in-depth technical knowledge of the Workday platform and a strong ability to customize and integrate with both internal and external systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Workday Configuration & Customization:
- Configure Workday modules (e.g., Recruiting, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits) to align with business needs.
- Develop custom reports, workflows, and dashboards to support HR and management decision-making.
Integration Development:
- Build and maintain integrations between Workday and other systems using tools like Workday StudioEIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), and Workday Cloud Connect
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues with external vendors, payroll systems, and benefits providers.
- Maintain and update the UKG timekeeping and employee scheduling interface framework to facilitate seamless ERP data exchange with third-party systems.
- Debug complex integrations within Workday Studio and assist with break-fix solutions.
Data Management & Migration:
- Oversee data uploads, maintenance, and migration activities within Workday to ensure data integrity.
- Develop and implement data validation rules and conduct regular audits to maintain data accuracy.
Security & Permissions:
- Configure and manage user roles and permissions within Workday, ensuring employees have the appropriate access levels.
- Regularly review and update security settings to align with organizational policies.
Testing & Troubleshooting:
- Conduct system testing for new features, configurations, and integrations, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Provide ongoing support by troubleshooting and resolving system errors, ensuring seamless HR operations.
System Upgrades & Feature Implementation:
- Stay up to date on the latest Workday releases and proactively implement new features and functionalities.
- Lead efforts in planning, implementing, and unit testing Workday upgrades and feature releases.
- Ensure smooth transitions during system upgrades and enhancements while providing user training and support.
User Support & Training:
- Act as a technical resource for Workday users, including HR, Payroll, and Finance teams, by providing training and guidance.
- Serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting system issues and providing timely solutions.
Collaboration:
- Partner with HR, IT, and other departments to ensure Workday supports key business processes and is aligned with organizational goals.
- Participate in HRIS-related projects, including system implementations and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience as a development experience in Workday.
- Proficient in Workday configuration, customization, and integrations.
- Experience with Workday StudioEIBWorkday Cloud Connect, and other integration tools.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes and best practices in human capital management.
- Proven experience in data management, data migration, and ensuring data integrity.
- Familiarity with Workday Security Administration and managing role-based permissions.
- Experience with ISU/ISSG in Workday (required)
- Familiarity with document transformation technologies like XSLT and XPATH.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues with a focus on user experience.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience with UKG (preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory or Azure (preferred)
