The Human Resources System Administrator serves as the applications owner for the HR/Payroll system, ADP Lyric, and related systems. Responsibility includes gathering and analyzing configuration requirements for HR Systems (HCM, RM, LMS) that enhance functionality, streamline the user experience, and implement workflow automation. This individual will play a leading role in the team’s objectives of maximizing the effectiveness of HR/Payroll applications to achieve strategic business objectives. The HR System Administrator will troubleshoot issues within and between systems, identify the root cause of errors, partner with vendors & internal departments to resolve issues and develop technical solutions for new business requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborates with HR Team to evaluate system needs and design new or modify the system’s configuration to meet changing business requirements.
- Reviews the architecture of the current system and works with business and technical staff to recommend solutions that result in more effective systems
- Reviews new technology and processes to determine feasibility with existing systems; prepares data flow diagrams and process flow analyses for current and new automation to ensure maximum system utilization.
- Coordinates with vendors, internal technical staff, management, and system users for the development of documentation and implementation of training and procedures for new systems and programs.
- Leads and/or participates in design discussions to define user requirements and translate them to solutions, advises users on best practices and cross functional dependencies
- Analyzes, designs, and implements data flow, processes, and configurations to recommend enhancements that will increase quality and efficiency.
- Provides troubleshooting support to employees and HR users in completing transactions and modifying back-end configurations.
- Supports the deployment and testing of configuration changes, including new implementations.
- Manage projects such as complex enterprise application upgrades, and configurations.
- Performs general data migration and ETL functions as needed.
- Conducts system audits, as well as delivering accurate reports and data analysis.
- Coordinates with relevant groups to ensure proper access controls, security settings, permissions, and data security are in place to protect staff and the company.
- Aids in the process of maintaining and improving data quality and accuracy.
- Provides data integrity and compliance with data privacy regulations across all HR systems.
- Develops and maintains system documentation, including user guides and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in talent analytics, BI tools, and other technologies in HR field
- Experience in designing, modifying, and creating business processes that will be used to implement technology solutions and roadmaps
- 4+ years of administrator role in an ADP HCM with capacity to learn ADP’s newest product during our implementation- Experience working with ADP Vantage or Workforce in a Systems Analyst/Admin capacity
- Strong understanding of general HR compliance needs
- Experience in database/application connectivity preferred
- Hybrid work schedule – in office 3 days a week.
- May require travel both inside and outside of state
- May require occasional weekend or evening travel
Preferred Qualifications
- PHR/SPHR/SHRM certifications a plus
