Job Title: Workday HCM Administrator
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Workday HCM Administrator to join our HR and IT teams. This individual will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and ongoing support of our Workday HCM system, ensuring optimal functionality and supporting the needs of HR and cross-functional teams. This role requires someone who can expertly manage Workday modules while engaging with diverse stakeholders to understand and deliver on their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Workday HCM Management:
- Administer and maintain Workday HCM modules, including Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Absence, and Talent.
- Perform regular configuration, testing, and updates to ensure system functionality aligns with HR processes and policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Workday-related issues, escalating as necessary for complex matters.
Stakeholder Engagement and Support:
- Collaborate closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and other teams to understand and address their Workday needs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Workday HCM inquiries, providing solutions and training to end-users.
- Liaise with external Workday support partners to implement updates, fixes, and enhancements.
Data Management and Reporting:
- Manage data integrity, auditing, and security within Workday, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Develop and generate custom reports, metrics, and dashboards to support strategic HR decision-making.
- Conduct regular data analysis to identify trends, optimize processes, and inform HR strategies.
Continuous Improvement and Best Practices:
- Stay updated on Workday releases, identifying and implementing new functionalities that add value to the business.
- Lead process improvement initiatives, finding ways to streamline and optimize Workday’s impact on HR and other departments.
- Participate in Workday community forums and user groups to share knowledge and gain insights into best practices.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Workday Administrator with a focus on HCM modules.
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, with a track record of successful cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong background in data management, reporting, and process improvement within an HRIS environment.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Workday configuration, especially in Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, and Absence Management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to create, interpret, and explain reports and metrics.
- Familiarity with Workday release management and a commitment to staying current with system updates.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to system and process optimization.
- Adaptability, with a willingness to learn and apply new features and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Workday certification in one or more HCM modules.
- Experience in data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Familiarity with security and compliance standards related to HR data management.
