Hybrid Role: 3 days in office required
Pay Rate: $85/hr to $95/hr
Duration: 6+ Months on contract
TOP 3 SKILLS:
- 3-5 years proven experience with Workday HCM functional system administration, design, and configuration. Understand business requirements, configure Workday solution, demonstrate concepts and processes to business owners, assist in test scenario development and execution.
- Testing of complex workflows and business rules with the ability to work independently. Experience troubleshooting and enhancing Workday HR business processes, integrations, reporting, and data loads.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other team members while working in a fast-paced Agile environment. Clear written and verbal communication, strong intrapersonal and interpersonal skills
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Workday HCM Functional Administrator to join our team. The consultant will work closely with our internal HR Product Services team to support core HCM business process enhancements, break/fix issues, and data maintenance. This role requires strong expertise in Workday system administration, configuration, and testing, along with a collaborative approach in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and resolve day-to-day issues within the Workday platform.
- Consult with stakeholders to define problem statements and provide Workday solutions.
- Configure and demonstrate Workday design options through prototyping and proof-of-concepts to assess the potential business value of new modules, tools, and technologies.
- Analyze and implement Workday releases, offering recommendations and supporting testing efforts.
- Assist with the testing of front-end designs, integrations, and interfaces within the Workday environment.
- Support new processes or process changes in Workday, propose creative solutions, and document ideas using proof-of-concepts and detailed documentation.
- Address performance, scalability, and error-handling defects in Workday processes.
- Translate business strategy into Workday-specific solutions and enhancements.
- Collaborate with team members to document and share solutions for cross-training and knowledge sharing.
Core Responsibilities with HR Product Services:
- Design and enhance Workday business processes to streamline user experience and operational efficiency.
- Evaluate the impact of Workday’s delivered features and provide support for HR data structure maintenance, including supervisory organizations and location management.
- Perform mass updates using EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder) for setup data and worker data.
- Partner with product owners and cross-functional teams to develop demos, proof-of-concepts, and change management strategies.
- Work in an Agile environment using the JIRA tool to manage stories and support HR business line initiatives.
- Gather requirements, propose designs, configure systems, write and execute test scenarios, and consult on change management and communication strategies.
