Job Title: Corporate Security Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and ensure compliance with corporate security strategy and goals.
• Conduct security assessments for branches across California, ensuring adherence to security policies.
• Stay up-to-date with state and federal credit union laws, including bank secrecy and anti-money laundering regulations.
• Oversee all physical security systems (video, alarm, access control, vaults), and provide executive protection to senior management.
• Collaborate with Electronic Services, ATM vendors, and security companies on equipment and security protocols.
• Manage and direct armed/unarmed security guards, ensuring alignment with corporate security policies.
• Serve as a liaison during bank robberies, offering staff support and coordinating with law enforcement. Provide robbery training statewide.
• Conduct investigations related to workplace violence, employee theft, and fraud, ensuring corporate policies are enforced.
• Perform security assessments for potential branch locations to assist in site selection.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
• 5+ years in Physical/Corporate Security or Executive Protection; 3+ years in financial institution operations required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Passionate about security, fraud prevention, and ethical professionalism.

Desired Qualifications:

Nice to have experience in Mortgage / Banking domain.

Location: This is 100% onsite role (Fresno, California)

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $50000 – $60000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
