Office Manager

LHH partnered with a commercial Landscpaing company located in South Austin on an experienced and highly organized Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing administrative functions, ensuring the office runs smoothly, and supporting staff across various departments. This role requires excellent communication, leadership, and multitasking skills, as well as a proactive approach to problem-solving. The Office Manager will play a key role in fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day office operations, ensuring a well-organized and efficient work environment
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships, ensuring the office is well-stocked and functional
- Coordinate office maintenance, repairs, and IT support as needed
- Assist with onboarding new employees, including workspace setup, equipment, and access to necessary systems
- Support human resources functions, such as maintaining employee records, tracking time off, and assisting with benefits administration
- Handle office correspondence, including mail distribution, phone inquiries, and emails
- Plan and coordinate company events, meetings, and staff activities
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as requested by management
- Assist in budget management for office-related expenses and handle invoice processing
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and help maintain a positive workplace culture
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in office management or administrative roles
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and office management software
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Ability to lead and manage administrative staff, and provide support to various departments
