Synechron is looking for Foreign Exchange (FX) Manual Quality Analyst to join our Team in Charlotte, NC
The Foreign Exchange (FX) Manual Quality Analyst will be responsible for conducting hands-on testing of our FX trading platforms. Leveraging over a decade of QA experience, the successful candidate will be expected to work closely with our development and product teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality and reliable trading software to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual testing of FX trading applications.
- Execute detailed manual tests to validate the usability, accuracy, and reliability of trading systems.
- Identify, record, and track bugs and inconsistencies in the trading platform.
- Provide detailed quality assurance reports and feedback to the development team.
- Work closely with software developers and product managers to understand the product's design and requirements.
- Perform regression testing and assist in the development of automated testing strategies.
- Stay abreast of new technologies in the field of manual testing and FX trading.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards associated with the FX market.
- Mentor junior QA staff and help in enhancing team knowledge and expertise.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of QA experience, with a strong background in manual testing.
- Extensive experience with FX trading platforms and understanding of Forex markets.
- Proven track record in developing manual test cases and plans.
- Familiarity with trading regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Finance, or related field.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with any automated testing tools is an advantage.
- Knowledge of SQL and databases.
- Experience with risk management or financial reporting is a plus.
- Professional certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are desirable.
