About This Role:

Are you passionate about helping individuals achieve their homeownership goals? Lock It Lending is looking for a motivated and experienced Mortgage Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will originate mortgage loans, collaborate with branch leadership, and mentor team members, all while providing exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Originate mortgage loans and partner with leadership to meet sales objectives.
• Mentor and coach employees to enhance their understanding of mortgage products and processes.
• Conduct outbound calls to prospective and existing customers, promoting our mortgage products.
• Deliver high-quality customer service, understanding and addressing clients' unique needs.
• Process loan applications, reviewing rates and terms in accordance with guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with underwriting, company policies, and industry regulations.
• Stay informed of market trends and developments within the mortgage industry.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of sales experience or equivalent, demonstrated through work, training, military service, or education.
• In-depth knowledge of lending products and the mortgage industry.
• Retail residential mortgage experience, particularly in purchase funding from established sources.
• Strong relationships with real estate professionals and nonprofit organizations in the market.
• Proven ability to prospect, generate referrals, and educate clients on mortgage programs.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish/English is preferred.
