Construction Project Manager

ProspectBlue seeks a Commercial Painting Project Manager for a great client here in Richmond, VA!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver services at targeted gross profit by managing crew efficiency and materials and equipment to complete jobs at or below estimates.
• Capture, a clear scope of work from the Sales & Estimating Department to ensure that it is followed by the field.
• Set up and maintaining each project from start to finish.
• Manage all communication with client and Project Manager regarding all submittals, drawdowns, scheduling, scope changes (RFIs, ASIs, Change Orders), color/product approval, and other contract concerns, and update Sales and Production Team.
• Ensure that clients are satisfied.
• Continually look for and implement better, more efficient and effective ways to do the work.

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:

• At least 5 years of General Contracting project management experience on either the GC or subcontractor side of the business.
• Good computer skills.
• A strong attention to detail.
• Skill in successfully resolving customer problems.
• Knowledge and experience in commercial painting a plus.
