About Us:
Our client is a seed-stage startup building a generative AI scheduling agent. The company has raised significant funding from Sequoia and Jeff Weiner (ex-CEO of LinkedIn and first investor in Figma) and is already showing best-in-class usage metrics and impressive revenue from their private beta.
As a lean team with fewer than 10 employees, they’re looking for up to two founding engineers who are passionate about architecting a “time agent” and a network of intelligent agents that can redefine productivity.
Job Summary:
As a Founding Engineer, you’ll play an instrumental role in building our client’s AI-driven scheduling platform. Collaborating closely with the founding team, you’ll design and develop core features, contribute to the technical stack, and drive the development of advanced algorithms and models. Your work will directly impact the technical direction of the product and company, particularly in the AI/LLM space, where innovative thinking is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Feature Development: Work alongside the founding team to design and implement key features of the AI scheduling agent, leading projects from end to end.
- Full-Stack Contribution: While primarily backend-focused, contribute to the entire tech stack, including Node.js, React, TypeScript, and Large Language Model (LLM) integrations.
- Algorithm Design: Create and implement advanced algorithms and models to enhance the intelligence and efficiency of the scheduling agent.
- Technical Strategy: As a founding engineer, contribute to the overall technical strategy, making foundational decisions that will shape the future of the product and influence the AI/LLM landscape.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 2-5 years in product engineering, ideally at a high-growth startup (e.g., Retool, Ramp, Notion), with a desire to transition to an early-stage, high-impact role.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from a top-tier university (MIT, Stanford, Ivy League, CMU, etc.).
- Startup Mindset: An enthusiastic, self-starter mentality with excitement to work at a fast-paced, seed-stage company.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with Node.js, React, TypeScript, and LLM integrations.
- Location:Must be able to work onsite in San Francisco, CA
