Job Description

As a Founding Full Stack Engineer, you will join a small but dedicated team of engineers and designers in downtown San Francisco. This is an open-ended, high-impact role where you’ll be expected to tackle complex problems end-to-end, from prototyping to delivery, ensuring the product both solves real-world problems and delights users.

This position is ideal for engineers who thrive in fast-paced, high-commitment environments and are passionate about making a real difference in AI technology. You’ll need to be hands-on, working closely with the founders, and potentially leading a junior developer in the future.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of experience as a Software Engineer (Full Stack), with strong skills in Node.js, Python, React, SQL, and TypeScript/JavaScript
• Experience in B2B SaaS development with a strong focus on technical projects.
• Ability to build, prototype, and deploy products that have been used and appreciated by actual users.
• AI background or knowledge of the AI space is a strong plus, but not mandatory. However, an interest in keeping up with AI developments is key.
• Previous experience as a founding engineer or at an early-stage startup is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Passion for the mission of enabling development teams to build great AI products.

Role responsibilities

• Build complex software systems from the ground up with a focus on usability and functionality.
• Collaborate with the core team to prototype, develop, and refine the client’s platform, which enables teams to evaluate AI products from end-to-end
• Innovate on solutions for data curation, AI product monitoring, and experimentation.
• Ensure the platform allows teams to prototype AI applications rapidly, even without writing code, while maintaining a technical edge.
• Collaborate with founders and key stakeholders, contributing to high-level product and technical decisions.

Compensation and Benefits

• $125,000 - $200,000
• Equity: 0.10% - 1.00%
