Currently, we're seeking a detail-oriented Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our team. Responsibilities include leading and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within our operations, focusing on optimizing processes and enhancing efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, ergonomic standards, and experience in continuous improvement methodologies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Execute activities for the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Continuous Improvement System, including:
- 5S System.
- Waste elimination.
- SMED.
- Time and motion studies.
- Process mapping.
- Value Stream Mapping (VSM).
- Standard work.
- Kanban.
- Visual factory.
- Layout optimization.
- Design and implementation of material handling equipment.
- Ensure the sustainability of implemented continuous improvement programs.
- Develop Kaizen workshops.
- Design and execute continuous improvement training workshops.
Requirements and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in continuous improvement roles.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Knowledge of ergonomic standards.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Proficiency in design software: Corel Draw, Photoshop, Illustrator.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in conducting Kaizen workshops and continuous improvement training.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across different teams.
