Equiliem is seeking a Technical Support Specialist for a client in the Engineering and Manufacturing space in Post Falls, Idaho

This position provides software support and technical assistance by responding to user requests and determining the necessary support. The role also involves investigating problems to develop solutions and participating in IT improvement projects. The ideal candidate should have a broad technical knowledge to resolve user issues quickly while being ready to escalate more complex problems as needed.

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree, or 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware/software
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork ability
  • Experience training users on software/hardware
  • Motivated, deadline-oriented individual
  • Proficient in SharePoint and Microsoft Office 365

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective helpdesk support and resolve user issues
  • Monitor and prioritize IT helpdesk requests
  • Install, configure, and maintain workstations and software
  • Perform hardware/software upgrades and troubleshooting
  • Maintain inventory of equipment and licenses
  • Document internal procedures and participate in IT improvement projects
  • Train users on software and hardware functions
  • Installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting various software applications, as well as performing hardware and software upgrades.
