About the Role:

Job Title:

• Yugabyte Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• This person will strengthen the Database Engineering team by evaluating and preparing Yugabyte and Postgres offerings, documenting and presenting best practices, defining and implementing database architectures, testing and communicating database standards, evaluating new database versions and features, and operationalizing and hardening OLTP technology.
• Modernizing Postgres workloads because of operational challenges dealing with asset compliance.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 7 Years of experience with enterprise-scale Yugabyte deployments including:
• Cluster management, troubleshooting, backup & restoration, rolling upgrade techniques, fault tolerance & failover, replication, monitoring and alerting, security mechanisms, and intra & inter-data center high availability configurations.
• Knowledge of DBMS concepts (ACID, CAP & consistency)
• Yugabyte internals like durability and replication settings and performance tuning.
• Postgres & Ansible, or Cassandra & Ansible or Cockroach & Ansible (Need any one combination).

Desired Qualifications:

• Banking /Financial domain Experience

Location:

• Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid 3 days/Week)

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $110,000 – $120,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
