SECS/GEM developer for equipment integration

Day 1 onsite from Durham, NC.

Job Description:

• GEM/SECS-GEM Protocol Knowledge: Detailed knowledge of the SEMI standards (E37, E30, etc.) related to equipment communicationExperience in implementing GEM interfaces and troubleshooting SECS/GEM communication issues between equipment and host systems
• Automation & Control Systems: Familiarity with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)Manufacturing Equipment Integration: Experience in integrating factory equipment with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) using SECS/GEM.Process Automation: Knowledge of industrial automation and control systems, particularly in semiconductor manufacturing or other high-tech industries.IT-OT Integration: Understanding of OT systems and how they interact with IT systems (MES, ERP, etc.).Networking and Communication Protocols: Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as OPC-UA, MQTT, and Ethernet/IP. Knowledge of cybersecurity practices relevant to IT-OT systems.Programming & Scripting: Automation Scripting: Ability to script for automation purposes (Python, C#, JavaScript, or other relevant languages).API Integration: Experience with integrating equipment through APIs or SDKs provided by equipment vendors.Database Skills: Basic SQL knowledge to interact with databases for logging and analytics purposes.MES Systems: Understanding of how MES systems work in an IT-OT environment and their interaction with equipment through GEM/SECS protocols.Data Logging & Analysis: Experience in setting up data collection and analysis from machines using GEM standards.CM product Handson is added advantage
