Solutions Architect

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of innovative technical solutions that address our business challenges. This role will involve creating a unified user interface that integrates data from various databases into a single output database. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring alignment and effectiveness across our IT initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and articulate a comprehensive technical vision for solutions that meet specific business objectives.
• Design and implement data architectures that support effective data modeling and analytics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into technology requirements.
• Utilize data analysis techniques (e.g., statistics, data mining, predictive analytics) to derive insights and support decision-making.
• Oversee and coordinate unit and integration testing processes to validate IT solutions against business requirements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant IT security guidelines and best practices throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Document new IT solution architectures and maintain existing documentation for ongoing projects.
• Provide functional guidance and support to colleagues and clients, fostering collaboration across teams.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8-10 years of experience in solutions architecture or a related technical role.
• Proven expertise in data architecture, data modeling, and analytics.
• Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to align technology solutions with business needs.
• Experience with integration testing and maintaining documentation for IT solutions.
• Knowledge of IT security practices and data stewardship.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
