Mark IV Capital is a privately held, growth-oriented real estate development and investment company headquartered in Newport Beach, CA. focused on acquiring, developing, owning, and operating commercial real estate investments. The firm is seeking a Manager, Information Technology to join its team.
The Manager, Information Technology will serve as the primary liaison between our employees, the Tech Committee, and our outsourced IT managed service provider (“MSP”). This role requires a hands-on approach to support our team’s technological needs while ensuring seamless communication and coordination internally and with external IT resources. Additionally, the Manager, Information Technology will be a strategic leader, overseeing the company’s digital strategy and cybersecurity initiatives, and acting as a resource to shareholders. This position reports to the leader of our Tech Committee.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provide hands-on technical support and a high level of customer service to employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring efficient use of technology across the organization.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the firm, the Tech Committee, and our MSP, facilitating communication, coordinating services, and managing project timelines.
- Serve as a member of the Tech Committee, contributing to discussions and decisions related to technology strategy, project prioritization, and resource allocation.
- Oversee the company’s digital strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Act as systems engineer, providing technical expertise and guidance on complex IT issues.
- Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of IT systems, including networks, servers, and software applications to ensure high availability and performance.
- Conduct training sessions and develop user guides to enhance employees’ understanding and use of technology tools and systems.
- Manage IT-related projects, including system upgrades, software implementations, and technology integrations, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Assist in evaluating and selecting IT vendors, AV vendors, managing contracts, and ensuring service level agreements are met.
- In liaison with the Tech Committee and MSP, ensure the security and integrity of company data and systems, implementing best practices for cybersecurity and data protection.
- Provide support to all regional offices and manage functionality and equipment consistent with our corporate standards.
- Serve as a resource to Shareholders, providing insights and guidance on IT-related needs.
- Develop and manage IT budget, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Create and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage audio visual efforts across all offices and serve as the main point of contact with our AV vendor. Ensure our brand of functionality and equipment is consistently maintained.
- Work collaboratively with our property management team to effectively manage our building automation systems and functionality.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience in IT management or support, preferably within commercial real estate or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and security protocols.
- Proven experience in vendor management and working with MSP’s.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Microsoft certifications preferred, but not required.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) preferred, but not required.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on providing exceptional user support.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies a plus.
