The Senior Manager, Central Engineering is a seasoned, accomplished manager ready and enthused to lead a world-class engineering group. The Central Engineering Manager has a keen eye for detail from the initial idea to drawings to fruition. This role requires excellent leadership skills in managing staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. This important role serves to manage the team responsible for ensuring all engineering records, drawings and equipment to conform to industry, regulatory and Group14 standards.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead the central engineering team that is responsible for Group14 global engineering standards, documentation, mechanical integrity, and drafting departments
- Implement systems and processes for ensuring compliance with documentation standards across Group14’s global operations
- Communicate systems and processes effectively to assist with implementation and compliance
- Establish and maintain mechanical integrity programs
- Up to 20% travel required to support global operations
- Providing guidance regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience with PSM or RMP Facilities.
- 10+ years of engineering and 5+ years of team leadership experience in chemical or materials manufacturing.
- Degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or similar) or technical discipline.
- Experience managing capital projects.
- Demonstrated leadership experience guiding engineering, manufacturing, and/or technical teams.
- Ability to lead a central engineering team with direct reports in different locations and time zones.
- Familiarity with industry standards or codes such as ASME, ANSI, NEC, API, ISA, IEEE, PIP, NFPA, CGA, IFC, IBC, etc.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to communicate complex standards and policies to a global organization.
Other Qualities We’d Love For You To Have:
- Industrial experience with flammable gasses such as silane or hydrogen.
- Industrial experience with manufacturing of powder products.
- Experience with mechanical integrity programs.

The annual base salary range for this position is $135,000 - $170,000. All positions come with a company bonus and stock options. The actual base pay offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the position is located.
