Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of distributed technologies, big data frameworks, and financial domain expertise, particularly in risk management. The Technical Business Analyst will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring that our projects align with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, functional specifications, and technical requirements for projects related to risk management and analytics.
  • Evaluate and recommend distributed technologies and big data solutions, including but not limited to web services, Hadoop, Hive, and Spark.
  • Analyze large datasets to derive meaningful insights and support decision-making processes. Use programming languages such as Python for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Work closely with development teams to design technical solutions that meet business requirements, ensuring feasibility and scalability.
  • Facilitate communication between business units and technical teams, ensuring that technical solutions align with business objectives.
  • Develop test plans, cases, and scripts to validate the functionality of solutions, ensuring quality and adherence to requirements.
  • Produce high-quality documentation for system specifications, user guides, and training materials.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within existing systems and workflows.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the financial services sector.
  • Proven experience in risk management and analytics within the financial domain.
  • Strong understanding of distributed technologies and web services.
  • Proficiency in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, and Spark.
  • Experience with Python for data analysis and scripting.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and tools.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management practices
