Controls Engineer

Our client, a leading turnkey automation solutions provider in Chicago, delivers innovative industrial automation systems. They seek a Controls Engineer to design, program, and commission control systems, supporting a range of projects that enhance efficiency and productivity.

Role Overview:

The Controls Engineer will develop PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems, conduct testing and troubleshooting, and collaborate with clients and project teams to ensure effective, reliable automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Programming: Develop and configure control systems, with a focus on PLC (Allen Bradley, Siemens), HMI, and SCADA.
• Testing & Commissioning: Perform testing, debugging, and onsite commissioning.
• Documentation & Support: Maintain technical documentation and provide client support.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or related field.
• Experience: 3+ years in controls engineering for industrial automation.
• Skills: Proficiency in PLC programming, HMI, SCADA; troubleshooting expertise.
