Plumbing Foreman

Responsibilities
· Oversee project schedules and budgets by meticulously reviewing job cost/hour reports and ensuring alignment with established budgets.
· Uphold and enforce quality standards in fieldwork, making prompt corrections as necessary to maintain project efficiency and adherence to schedules.
· Scrutinize current job schedules, verify material and equipment orders, allocate manpower with appropriate skill sets, and comprehensively understand project plans and schedules.
· Place special emphasis on critical milestones, including start/end dates for phases, equipment placements, inspections, and overall project completion.
· Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and adept management of multiple jobsite details.
· Effectively mediate disputes and adapt plans as needed in the field.
· Participate in weekly jobsite meetings with General Contractors (GC) and subcontractors.
· Exhibit a calm and levelheaded demeanor in challenging situations.
· Keep meticulous track of tools and address tool needs for the project.
Minimum Job Requirements:
· A minimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial plumbing foreman or in an equivalent capacity. Wage DOE
· Current AK state Certificate of Fitness.
· Current Municipality of Anchorage Plumbers’ license (not required for remote work).
· Possession of a valid Alaska driver’s license.
· Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
· Mechanical aptitude.
· Proficiency in reading and comprehending plans, specifications, blueprints, proposals, and other project-related documents.
· Computer literacy, including the ability to navigate construction reporting applications.
Exceptional organizational skills.
Knowledge, Skills & Proficiencies:
- Proficiency in interpreting/understanding drawings, technical articles, specifications, and blueprints.
- Strong mathematical aptitude.
- Exceptional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively multitask and maintain organizational efficiency.
- Skill in managing projects, subcontractors, and vendors.
Pay: Up to $73.00 per hour DOE
