About the Company
The company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with a background in Project Management and hands-on experience in installation support for production equipment.
About the Role
The role involves performing hands-on installation support for new or modified production equipment, supervising technicians and trades during equipment installation and conversion, troubleshooting and documenting Electrical and Controls Systems, and modifying machine control programs.
Responsibilities
- Execute initial equipment set-up and debug
- Provide troubleshooting support and direct engineering techs and trades
- Procure and expedite materials
- Develop electrical installation checklists and schedules
- Prepare work orders and direct maintenance personnel
- Review and update installation documentation and drawings
- Modify software programs for process equipment control
- Redline existing schematics and resolve design issues
- Provide training on new equipment installation procedures
- Re-design electrical components to reduce installation cost
- Analyze and correct equipment installation practices
Qualifications
BS Mechanical Engineering Technology, BS Mechanical Engineering, BS Project Management
Required Skills
- AutoCAD+++
- MS Office proficiency

Pay range and compensation package
