Pay: $120-150k (flexible)
Shift
- M-F 8-5, On-site 3 days a week
Must Have:
- PE license in California
- At least 7 years of related progressive experience in civil engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A proven track record of obtaining and/or managing new contracts or follow-on work with existing clients.
- Experience using and overseeing modeling and design software tools such as HydroCAD, EPA-SWMM, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, AutoCAD, and ArcGIS.
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering or related
- IGP, CGP, or MS4 permit
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel
Plusses:
- Advanced engineering degree
- Experience supporting San Diego area municipalities
Day to Day:
In this role, you’ll manage and delegate project tasks to a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring technical methods and milestones are met while maintaining regular client communication. You’ll oversee the design of stormwater management and drainage restoration projects, including hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, engineering computations, and creating technical documents and visual exhibits. Additionally, you’ll support business development by obtaining new contracts, managing proposals, and participating in professional events. You’ll apply industry-standard care to all work products and have opportunities for professional development and flexible work arrangements. Fieldwork and travel may be required based on project needs.
