A client of Robert Half is seeking a highly motivated mid-level Backend Engineer to join their startup as a key contributor to all areas of the development process.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5+ experience building or creating solutions
• Support Frontend Team ensuring smooth feature integration
• Full responsibilities with CI/CD and infrastructure tasks from concept through production, making critical decisions
• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems which support a high-growth platform
• Lead backend focused projects from concept through production, making critical decisions
• Strong, proven experience with cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud - must have, Firebase preferred)
• Proficient in NodeJS, with experience building scalable backend systems
• Proven track record of building products, startups, or equivalent projects
